We bring innovative offerings for Finance & Accounting, Human Resources, Information Technology, Transaction Processing, and Customer Care to our clients in Government, Communications, Manufacturing, Retail, Financial services, Healthcare, Education, and Transportation ACS is currently seeking a full-time Senior Sales Executive to become a part of our rapidly growing Transportation Solutions Group (TSG) Sales Team. The ACS Transportation Solutions Group, headquartered in Germantown, maryland is the largest provider of transportation services to governments worldwide. We help transportation agencies address their unique challenges with revenue collection and regulation compliance services. From fare collection to toll solutions and from back-office processing to infrastructure installation, we provide systems and services that help governments solve their transportation problems. Due to the commonality of transportation problems around the world, including traffic management and congestion and the desire to improve efficiency of fare collections systems, our TSG business serves an international client base. The Sr. Sales Executive is responsible for delivering new business with new clients in the expanding road pricing and toll collection markets that are helping governments manage traffic congestion, reduce vehicle emissions, expand the use of public transportation systems and finance the growing needs of the transportation sector. Target prospects include government transportation agencies and the Global 1000 firms that provide services to these agencies including private concessionaires that build, finance and operate new transportation infrastructure. Sales goals are greater than $8 million USD in total annual recurring and non-recurring revenue achieved by winning new contracts and orders through prospecting and developing new customer relationships. The Sr. Sales Executive expands upon the goodwill and name recognition of the ACS brand in the marketplace. The Sr. Sales Executive identifies and qualifies sales opportunities, providing a consultative and value-added approach to develop relationships. This position with the ACS Transportation Solution Group to develop the right solution for the client; helps to assemble a team of partners and suppliers; takes the lead in the formation of a proposal management team; assists in the preparation of the proposal; helps to develop the price to win; participates in the negotiation of contractual terms and conditions; and works with the solutions/operations/implementation teams to ensure smooth handoffs. The Sr. Sales executive builds a sales pipeline of qualified sales opportunities and maintains an ongoing relationship with prospective clients continuously assessing and communicating how ACS can meet their needs; develops and executes sales presentations to potential clients; develops and implements sales plans and activities; learns about ACS technologies, keeping up to date with the new Service Portfolio and market trends. The Sr. Sales Executive also completes and submits sales pipeline prospecting and sales tracking reports in a timely fashion; and travels to ACS and client sites as required. Finally and importantly, the Sr. Sales Executive adheres to all ACS ethical and professional standards. The ideal candidate will have: Proven track record of consistently achieving sales quota objectives Subject matter experience with toll collection, pricing and ITS systems; Experience responding to government tenders and RFPs Demonstrated ability to close large sales deals greater than 5 million annual revenue; Established relationships and pipelines in the US transportation market; University degree with an advanced degree desirable: Specific Requirements: 8+ years plus of direct sales experience within a minimum of ONE of the following areas: Toll collection systems and services Transportation pricing schemes ITS Systems and Services
